I started pottery a little over a year ago in October 2018 and have become an avid potter ever since! While my first mugs were quite &#8220;cute&#8221; (otherwise known as small and &lt; 6 oz. mugs), I can now regularly throw mugs that hold 10-12 oz. of liquid! In December, I made 2 mugs with my family crest on it &#8212; one in a matte glaze and one in a shiny glaze. A picture of the matte one is shown above. I wasn&#8217;t sure how they would turn out, but I was very happy with the results!
